Welcome to ALA

Ascend Leadership Academy is a tuition-free public charter school located in Sanford, North Carolina, serving students in grades 6–12 through our in-person Academy and grades 6–10 through our Remote Academy. At ALA, we provide high-quality, project-based instruction with a strong emphasis on Digital Media and real-world learning experiences. Our mission is to ensure that every student finds their place, builds confidence, and develops the skills needed to succeed in school and beyond.
